Once upon a time there was a boy named Mick in the land of Rock. He was hopelessly in love with a girl named Kate. He tried every trick in the book and and every trick never tried before to get Kate to love him. But she was so haughty and snobbish that she never even looked at him proper. Months passed by and Mick could never forget her. She was as cold as a stone. Atlast he proposed to her during the final school dance. On one knee and with a hundred roses bouquet in his hand, he said "I love you. No other woman is sunshine to my eyes. Its only you that I have ever loved and I will ever love."
Then Kate just looked at him in the eye with contempt and pity and said...
She then replied with a proverb.
Question: What is the proverb?
Hint: It has something to do with where Mick belongs to and Kate's surname. The easiest of all the taxims.
