Tradition of the Chows

This is something to start off this blog.

Let me start of by saying who the chows are. They are a group of knuckleheads with individual and conflicting characters who still manage to stay as friends. They were bound in the begining by the brand of music they listened to - if guessed right kudos to you- rock and heavy metal. And they were all in the same class and same school. After school they all left for different places for their higher education. But then it became a tradition that they somehow make it to nagercoil - yeah their hometown near Kanyakumari - on the 23rd of december every year. First it started of by visiting friends places singing carols. Then it just turned out that they met to exchange juicy stories and have fun. So 23rd night is invariably spent at the beach house - yeah one of us owns it.

Why the name chows? So many people have asked this question. In Tamil there is a word saying chowdaal, which means white lie or not telling the truth straightforward. Since they all had this habit, they were all called Chows.

So who are these damned people? They are seven of them born to ruin this world. Let me just call them as Doctor Who, Pentacoxi, Me ( I dont care to give myself a name, although I was known to them before as Cacophonix), Kanakkupillai ( clerk), Black Cobra, The silent one and Porky.
Doctor Who happens to be a real doctor who cuts people just to see and drink blood.
Pentacoxi cannot keep to himself and is always putting his nose everywhere.
Me I somethimes do try to sing, I guess.
Kanakkupillai knows all the train and bus routes.
Black Cobra is tall, dark and bloodshot eyes.
The silent One, well the name is self explanatory.
Porky, crazy bastard has porcupine like hair.
