Sarah and Laura were two beautiful girls. All the boys in town were after them. The boys brought them flowers, they brought the girls expensive gifts from the nearest big town. Some even travelled to the city, unheard of in this sleepy town, and brought them cards and make up kits. In fact, the boys tried everything they could think of to woo her.
Many of the boys who tried to woo Sarah and Laura had girlfriends. But you know how some boys think. They dreamt of getting cozy with these two darlings behind their girlfriends' backs.
Of course, there has to be an exception in every town. So there was this boy who never
went after Sarah and Laura. That was so because of a simple fact. He had a pretty girlfriend. She was not as beautiful as the twins and this boy did not really love her. But he still went out with her and he never bothered to woo the twins. You must understand that he wanted them as badly as the other boys. It was just that he thought having a girl who loved him was better than wasting time going after seemingly fruitless pursuits.
